Privacy Policy
What we hold, and why.
Written to be read rather than to be survived. If anything here is unclear, ask — an explanation you understand is worth more than a policy you do not.
Draft policy — requires review by qualified counsel before publication
What we collect
Only what the relationship genuinely requires: identification and verification documents needed to open and maintain an account, contact details, the instructions you give us, and records of our correspondence.
If you contact us through the enquiry form, we receive the name, email, optional telephone number and message you choose to send. Nothing is collected before you send it.
Why we hold it
To provide the services you have asked for, to meet legal and regulatory obligations that apply to banks, to protect you and us against fraud, and to keep an accurate record of what was agreed and when.
We do not build marketing profiles, and we do not use your information to advertise to you elsewhere.
Who sees it
Inside the bank, the people working on your relationship. Access is granted narrowly and recorded.
Outside the bank, only where a service you asked for requires it or the law compels it. Your information is never sold, and never shared for marketing.
How long we keep it
For as long as the relationship continues, and afterwards for the period our legal and regulatory obligations require. When that period ends, records are destroyed rather than archived indefinitely.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for inaccuracies to be corrected, ask for deletion where no obligation requires us to retain it, and object to particular uses.
Ask your banker, or write to us at the address below. We will confirm receipt and tell you what happens next.
Contacting us about privacy
